In the Houston Tobler home, it's not just Halloween. It's Happy Halloween! Lucia doesn't just call the day Halloween. A Happy always precedes this holiday when she talks about it and it's the cutest thing!
We flew back to Houston from Vegas on Halloween, just in time for the festivities to begin. Jan also flew to Houston that day so it was really awesome to spend an additional few days with the Tobler Matriarch!
The Chad Tobler family (plus Jan) was Frozen themed! Janet did a fantastic job putting the costumes together!
We were Margot and Todd from Christmas Vacation. Only, we ran out of time and I didn't get to dye my hair or curl it, and we didn't have time to tape black electrical tape in stripes down the arms of our sleeves. And we didn't find any turtlenecks to wear underneath. Dang. Maybe next year. I see this as a costume that can only get better with time.
It was so fun to walk around the neighborhood and see the kids trick-or-treat. Even Benicio got into the spirit and would wander up to neighbors for some candy!
